Dental care abroad
Dental care on Medbook covers treatment of the teeth, gums and jaw. It ranges from fillings, root canal treatment and gum care to dental implants, crowns and bridges, veneers, braces and clear aligners, dentures and full-arch implants such as All-on-4 and All-on-6.
Two countries offer dental care through Medbook. Turkey offers every procedure in the area, in eight cities, and South Korea offers most of them, in Seoul, Busan and Incheon. This page explains what can be arranged, how the two destinations differ and what to gather before you travel.

What Medbook can arrange
To replace or restore teeth, Medbook can arrange dental implants, which are fixed to the jawbone in place of a tooth's root and can support a crown, and full-arch implants such as All-on-4 and All-on-6. A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that replaces a tooth above the gum line. Bridges, which are fixed to other teeth, and dentures also replace missing teeth.
For the look of your smile, the list includes veneers, teeth whitening and smile makeovers. Braces are used to straighten teeth, and clear aligners are offered alongside them. The list also covers fillings and root canal treatment, gum treatment and professional cleaning, tooth extraction and oral surgery, and treatment for jaw joint (TMJ) problems and teeth grinding.
When you choose dental care, the assistant also asks how many teeth need treatment: one or two, three to five, six or more, or the full mouth. If you are not sure which procedure you need, choose "Not sure yet" under dental care. The clinic looks at the details of your case before it makes you an offer.
Choosing a destination
Turkey offers every dental procedure on Medbook's list, in Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Bodrum, Bursa, Eskişehir and Kayseri. Every service on Medbook's list is arranged there, including airport and clinic transfers, an interpreter, a personal coordinator and visa support.
South Korea offers dental implants, veneers, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, braces and clear aligners, fillings and root canal treatment, gum treatment and cleaning, and TMJ and teeth-grinding treatment, in Seoul, Busan and Incheon. Accommodation and an online consultation before you travel are arranged there. All-on-4 and All-on-6, tooth extraction and oral surgery, smile makeovers and dentures are offered only in Turkey.
How many trips a treatment needs and how long you stay depend on the procedure, and your clinic confirms the plan and the dates in its offer. Wherever you go, once you confirm an offer, your roadmap lets you book flights and transfers yourself or ask Medbook to arrange them.
Before you travel
Gather recent dental X-rays, such as a panoramic X-ray, and any 3D scan (CBCT) you have, together with notes or a treatment plan from your dentist. Write down which teeth need attention and what work you already have, such as crowns, implants or root fillings, along with the medications you take and any allergies. The assistant asks about chronic conditions, allergies and medications when you describe your case.
An online consultation before you travel is arranged in both countries. Questions worth asking there:
- Can you plan the treatment from my X-rays, or will you take new ones?
- How many trips does my treatment need, and how long is each stay?
- Which materials do you plan to use?
- Which follow-up checks are planned, and can my dentist at home do any of them?
When you compare offers, look at the dates, the length of the stay and whether follow-up is included.
Questions
Why does the assistant ask how many teeth need treatment?
Your answer becomes part of your request for offers and helps describe your case. The clinic looks at the details of your case before it makes you an offer, and the offer shows the price and the dates.
Can I combine several dental treatments?
Yes. You can choose several treatments when you describe your case, and each destination in your results shows which of them it offers. The clinic confirms in its offer what it can do and when.
Where can I have All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants?
In Turkey. South Korea does not offer them through Medbook at the moment, though it does offer dental implants. If you are not sure which kind of implant treatment you need, choose "Not sure yet" under dental care.
Do I need to choose a city?
No. Each offer shows where your treatment takes place, so you can compare cities as well as dates. If you prefer a particular city, you can say so in your own words when the assistant asks about your preferences.
