How we write our guides

Medbook's treatment and destination guides explain what Medbook can arrange abroad and how a medical trip usually works. This page explains who writes them, where their facts come from and what they cannot do for you.

You see a price only when a clinic makes you an offer.

Who writes them

The guides are written by the Medbook team with the help of AI writing tools. A person on the team checks every page before it is published and whenever it changes.

No doctor reviews these guides. They describe logistics and the general shape of a trip, not your medical situation.

Where the facts come from

The treatments available in each country, the cities and the services arranged for you all come from Medbook's own catalogue. It is the same data that decides which destinations you see when you describe your case.

Where a page states a general fact, for example what a procedure is or how long people usually stay, it lists its sources at the bottom: national health services, official health portals and government sites.

What the guides are not

  • They are not medical advice. Only a doctor who knows your health can tell you whether a treatment suits you.
  • They do not promise results or quote prices. You see a price only in an offer from a clinic.
  • They do not name or rank clinics.

Keeping them current

Each page shows the date it was last updated. When the catalogue changes, for example when a treatment is no longer offered somewhere, the page changes with it.

Questions

Can I rely on a guide to decide on treatment?

No. Use the guides to understand the trip and your options, and make medical decisions with a doctor. A clinic looks at the details of your case before it makes an offer.

Why are there no prices?

Prices depend on your case, the clinic and what is included. You see a price only when a clinic makes you an offer, so every price you see is for your case.
