Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

By accessing the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Platform Services

The platform provides:

• AI-powered patient intake and clinic matching
• Healthcare communication tools and in-platform chat
• Scheduling and calendar functionality
• Trip plan generation including travel coordination with partner agencies
• Data collection, storage, and anonymised patient profiling
• Clinic offer management and booking workflow

3. User Eligibility

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete personal and medical information
• Use the platform lawfully and in good faith

5. Patient Obligations

5.1 Accuracy of medical information

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all medical information provided, including chronic conditions, allergies, and medications. Inaccurate medical information may result in inappropriate clinic matching and risk to your health.

5.2 Prohibited conduct

• Providing false or misleading medical information
• Contacting clinics directly to bypass the platform booking system
• Sharing login credentials with third parties
• Misusing travel agency partner services obtained through the platform

6. Clinic Obligations

• Hold a valid USHAS International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate
• Respond to accepted patient cases within 24 hours
• Provide accurate pricing information without undisclosed fees
• Maintain complication insurance as required by Turkish health tourism law
• Not share patient data beyond the scope of the Data Processing Agreement

7. AI-Powered Matching

• Match scores are recommendations, not medical assessments
• No automated decision with legal effect is made without human review
• The final choice of clinic rests entirely with the patient
• AI matching does not substitute for professional clinical assessment

8. Booking and Payments

8.1 Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when: (a) you have accepted a clinic offer; (b) the booking deposit has been paid through the platform; (c) the clinic has confirmed dates.

8.2 Cancellation

• More than 30 days before treatment: full deposit refund
• 15–30 days before treatment: 50% deposit refund
• Less than 15 days: deposit non-refundable
• Medical emergency: full refund subject to documentation

9. Platform Communication Rules

• All patient–clinic communication must occur via the platform chat before booking is confirmed
• Clinics must not share direct contact details before booking confirmation
• Post-booking, direct contact details may be shared for treatment coordination

MedBook Global OÜ is a technology platform that facilitates communication, data collection, scheduling, and administrative support for healthcare-related services. The platform does NOT provide medical care, replace licensed healthcare professionals, guarantee diagnoses or treatment outcomes, or assume responsibility for patient health outcomes.

All medical decisions, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatments, and healthcare services are solely the responsibility of the treating healthcare provider, clinic, or licensed medical professional.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MedBook Global OÜ, its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and technology providers shall not be liable for: injury or health complications; medical malpractice; treatment outcomes; delayed or incorrect diagnosis; loss resulting from reliance on medical advice provided by third parties; emergency medical situations.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition. EU residents may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
