Urology in Turkey
Turkey is the only destination where Medbook arranges urology at the moment, and it offers all nine procedures in the area, from kidney stone treatment and treatment for prostate enlargement to a urology consultation with tests.
One procedure you might look for here belongs to another area. Incontinence and prolapse surgery is listed under women's health, which Turkey and South Korea both offer, while overactive bladder and cystitis treatment is part of urology; choosing the incontinence surgery therefore brings up both countries in your results.
You see a price only when a clinic makes you an offer.

What you can have done in Turkey
Of the nine, three deal with stones, the bladder and the urinary passages: kidney stone treatment, overactive bladder and cystitis treatment, and urethra and ureter reconstruction. Five concern the prostate and men's health: treatment for prostate enlargement and prostatitis, circumcision, erectile dysfunction and sexual health, penile enlargement, and vasectomy and varicocele treatment. All nine are explained in Medbook's guide to urology, which sits under Treatments.
The ninth, the urology consultation with tests, can be picked alone, for example if you are unsure which treatment fits, or alongside one. "Not sure yet" under urology is the other way to leave it open, and the clinic goes through your answers before making an offer.
How the trip usually goes
Medbook's guide to urology lists the test results and scans worth gathering; in the online consultation, also ask whether the clinic plans its own tests after you arrive and how long they take. An interpreter is among the services in Turkey, and Turkey's description on Medbook mentions interpreters for more than 20 languages. The assistant's language question offers English, Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish, with Other for the rest, so if yours is not listed, ask in the online consultation whether the clinic can cover it.
With an offer confirmed, add the flight to your roadmap and then the airport transfer, deciding for each whether you book it or Medbook does. For a urology procedure, the stay usually runs from an appointment beforehand through the procedure to some time before the flight home, and your clinic confirms the dates in its offer. Each offer also shows whether follow-up is included, so look before you confirm one.
Questions
Is penile enlargement part of plastic surgery?
Not on Medbook. Penile enlargement is listed under urology and offered only in Turkey. Plastic and cosmetic surgery is a separate area that Turkey and South Korea both offer.
Can I choose the consultation together with a treatment?
Yes. You can choose the urology consultation with tests together with a treatment, for example kidney stone treatment, when you describe your case. Whether they share one stay is up to the clinic, as the dates in its offer will show.
