Plastic and cosmetic surgery on Medbook covers procedures that change the shape of the face or body. For the face, that includes rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts and ear reshaping. Two countries offer these procedures through Medbook. Turkey offers every procedure in the area, in eight cities. South Korea offers most of the face procedures, as well as breast augmentation, liposuction and fat transfer, in Seoul, Busan and Incheon. What Medbook can arrange
For the face, the area covers rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), facelifts with neck and brow lifts, facial contouring and lip lift, and ear reshaping (otoplasty).
For the breasts and body, there is breast augmentation, breast lift and reduction, and male breast reduction for gynecomastia. Liposuction removes unwanted fat from areas of the body, and a tummy tuck can remove loose skin and fat from the abdomen. Body lift and contouring is listed as a separate procedure. In fat transfer, fat is moved from one part of the body to another.
If you know what you would like to change but not the name of the procedure, describe it in your own words when the assistant asks what you would like treated, or choose "Not sure yet" under plastic surgery. The clinic looks at the details of your case before it makes you an offer.
Choosing a destination
Turkey offers every plastic and cosmetic procedure on Medbook's list, in Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Bodrum, Bursa, Eskişehir and Kayseri. Every service on Medbook's list is arranged there, including transfers, an interpreter, a personal coordinator, visa support and aftercare.
South Korea offers rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, facelifts with neck and brow lifts, facial contouring and lip lift, breast augmentation, liposuction and fat transfer, in Seoul, Busan and Incheon. Accommodation and an online consultation before you travel are arranged there. Breast lift and reduction, male breast reduction, tummy tucks, body lifts and ear reshaping are offered through Medbook only in Turkey.
How long you stay depends on the procedure, and your clinic confirms the dates in its offer. Wherever you go, once you confirm an offer, your roadmap lets you book flights and transfers yourself or ask Medbook to arrange them.
Before you travel
Write down what you would like to change, and keep a few photos at hand that show it. Gather records of any earlier surgery, especially on the same area, a list of the medications you take, including supplements, and any allergies. The assistant asks about chronic conditions, allergies and medications when you describe your case.
An online consultation before you travel is arranged in both countries. Questions worth asking during the consultation:
- How long should I plan to stay, and when can I fly home?
- Will I need special garments or supplies after the procedure?
- If I would like more than one procedure, can they be done on the same trip?
- Which follow-up checks are planned once I am home?

You can choose several treatments when you describe your case, and each destination in your results shows which of them it offers. Whether they can be done on the same trip is for the clinic to decide, and it confirms in its offer what it can do and when.

Is aftercare arranged?
In Turkey, aftercare is among the services arranged, and it can continue remotely once you are home. In South Korea it is not among the services, so check each offer for whether follow-up is included.

No. You choose which destinations to ask, and the clinics behind them send you offers. Each offer shows the clinic, the price and the dates, so you can compare them before you confirm one.
