Women's health treatment in Turkey

Turkey offers all six women's health procedures on Medbook's list, and three of them only there: hysterectomy, fibroid and ovarian cyst treatment, and endometriosis treatment.

The other three, labiaplasty, vaginal tightening and rejuvenation, and incontinence and prolapse surgery, are offered in South Korea as well, so when you choose one of them, your results show both countries. Turkey is the destination that offers the whole list, which matters if your request mixes procedures from both groups.

How a Medbook trip works

  1. Tell the assistant what you need treated, where you travel from and when.
  2. See the destinations that offer your treatment and choose where to ask.
  3. Receive offers with a price and dates.
  4. Confirm an offer and get a day-by-day travel roadmap.

What you can have done in Turkey

Any of the six can be chosen on its own or together with others, and if your choices span both groups, only offers from Turkey can cover all of them. Medbook's guide to women's health, under Treatments, describes all six and how the two destinations differ.

A diagnosis your doctor has given you can be typed in your own words when the assistant asks what you would like treated; the assistant then matches it to a procedure on its list, which you can review and change before you send your request. Choosing "Not sure yet" under women's health is also possible, and the clinic reviews everything you have told it before making an offer.

How the trip usually goes

The gynaecological records worth bringing together are listed in Medbook's guide to women's health. If you choose more than one procedure, ask in the online consultation whether they can be done on the same trip. An interpreter is arranged for your stay in Turkey, and the language you pick when the assistant asks becomes part of your request.

Once you confirm an offer, the roadmap asks for your flight first and then the transfer, and each can be booked by you or left to Medbook. A stay for women's health treatment usually follows this pattern: an appointment at the clinic, the procedure, then recovery time before you fly home. That is the usual shape rather than a rule, and your clinic confirms the dates in its offer. Before you confirm one, compare what each offer shows about follow-up.

Questions

Where is gynaecological cancer treatment listed?

On Medbook, it belongs to cancer care rather than to women's health, and cancer care is offered only in Turkey. If it is what your doctors have proposed, choose it there when you describe your case.

Do I need recent test results before I ask for offers?

No. Describing your case and asking for offers does not require any records. Which examinations or tests the clinic needs is a question for the online consultation before you travel.
