Health check-ups in South Korea
South Korea offers every health check-up on Medbook's list, in Seoul, Busan and Incheon: a full-body health check-up, heart and brain screening, cancer screening, endoscopy and colonoscopy, and a women's health check-up.
Two services are arranged for you there: accommodation and an online consultation before you travel. This page explains what you can have done and how a trip for a check-up in South Korea usually goes.
You see a price only when a clinic makes you an offer.

What you can have done in South Korea
Each check-up on the list is a programme of its own, and Medbook's guide to health check-ups, under Treatments, explains what each one covers. The women's health check-up sits in this area too, while women's health treatment is a separate area with its own procedures.
You can choose a check-up on its own or together with another treatment offered in South Korea, such as dental care or eye care. If you would like a check-up but are not sure which kind, choose "Not sure yet" under health check-up when you describe your case. The clinic looks at the details of your case before it makes you an offer.
How the trip usually goes
Before you travel, gather the results of recent tests and examinations, letters from your doctors about any conditions you have, and a list of the medications you take and any allergies. In the online consultation, ask which examinations and tests the programme includes, whether any of them need fasting or other preparation, how many days it takes, and when and in which language you will receive the report.
Once you confirm an offer, your roadmap lets you book your flight yourself or ask Medbook to arrange it. The flight comes first, and then the transfer from the airport, which you can also book yourself or hand to Medbook. Accommodation is arranged for you for the length of your stay, and each offer shows where your check-up takes place. Your clinic confirms the dates in its offer. An interpreter, a personal coordinator and aftercare are not among the services in South Korea, so check each offer for whether any follow-up is included.
Questions
Can I combine a check-up with another treatment in South Korea?
Yes. You can choose several treatments when you describe your case, for example a check-up together with dental care or eye care, which South Korea also offers. The clinic confirms in its offer what it can do and when.
Is there a check-up for women?
Yes. The women's health check-up is a programme of its own and is offered in South Korea. You can choose it on its own or together with another check-up.
Can I get offers from Turkey as well?
Yes. Turkey also offers every health check-up on Medbook's list. If you choose a check-up, your results show both countries, and you choose whether to ask one of them or both for offers.
