What patients ask us most about medical travel and how Medbook works.

I don't know which country to choose.

You don't have to decide up front. Once your case is complete, your results show every destination where our partners offer your treatment, with its cities and the services available there. You can request offers from one destination or several.

Why don't I see prices straight away?

Because a fair price depends on your case. A partner prices your treatment after it has seen your answers, and the price appears in your offer together with what it includes. We don't show estimates before that.

Do I have to pay or commit to anything?

No. Finding destinations and requesting offers on Medbook is free, and requesting an offer doesn't oblige you to anything. You compare the offers you receive and decide if and when to go.

Who sees my medical information?

Our team, and the partners in the destinations you choose. Before anything is shared, you confirm which destinations may receive your case, and the case summary a partner receives leaves out your name, email address and phone number. To have your case or account deleted, email us at support.m.b.g@medbook.global.

Which clinic will treat me?

Each offer names the clinic and its city, so you can look the clinic up before you decide. The clinic's full address appears in the offer details. You only travel if you accept an offer.

How many times do I need to travel?

It depends on the treatment. Some procedures are completed in a single trip; others need a follow-up visit once you have healed. Each offer states how long the treatment takes and how much recovery time to allow.

Are flights and hotels included?

Each offer lists what the clinic includes — for example an airport transfer or accommodation. Once you accept an offer, you get a day-by-day roadmap with your flights, transfer, stay and clinic appointment. Flights and transfers show who is arranging them: us, the clinic, or you.

Is insurance included?

No. We do not arrange travel or medical insurance. We recommend arranging your own cover before you travel — your offer tells you how long treatment and recovery take, so you know how long your cover needs to last.

Do I need a visa?

That depends on your nationality, your destination and how long you stay, and the rules change — so check with the consulate of the country you are traveling to. Your roadmap holds the travel dates, clinic details and appointment times you will need for an application.
